In 2018, Ralph was asked by the artist, Beau Kerouac to collaborate on a project to raise awareness and money for the increasing number of homeless on the streets of most major cities in the world.
In 2017 Kerouac originally took 10 doors and hung them in spots around Bristol leaving them to be defaced by graffiti artists, hooligans or just the weather. Titled A Year Outdoors the doors were eventually installed outside St Martin's in the Field with the intention of raising more awareness in London of this plight. Ralph has long been affected by this seemingly unnecessary and unfair condition of modern life.
In 2019 Kerouac asked Ralph if he would be willing to create a piece of artwork for The Big Issue, a publication that Ralph buys whenever he gets the chance. In typical prolific fashion, Ralph created 2, both of which are now available as limited edition, 14 colour silk screen prints. Proceeds from the sales will be donated to The Big Issue to enable it to continue its work improving the lives of the homeless across the world.
